The training of flexibility and mobility has for a long time lagged behind the other components of a comprehensive training regime, such as strength, endurance, and speed training etc. It is to a lesser degree based upon existing research and is characterised by old-fashioned training methods, a prevalence of myths and a counter-productive mindset. 

 

My courses in Safe and Effective Stretching seeks to address these shortcomings, and to enable athletes, practitioners and trainers alike to approach such training professionally and science-based. The participants will learn how to prevent common stretching injuries; the body mechanics of effective stretching; and several highly effective methods that can be applied in a class setting as well as in separate, focused sessions.

The courses are offered as live seminars, which cover both the theory and practice of Safe and Effective Stretching, and as online webinars, typically organised as two sessions - one theoretical and one practical.
